Nandi residents have revealed their disappointment after Eliud Kipchoge failed to defend his London Marathon title on Sunday. The residents, some who missed Sunday service to watch the marathon in various entertainment joints within Kapsabet town said they are very disappointed by the champion’s performance adding that they were expecting the best from him.
Kipchoge finished in eighth position and vowed to go back to the drawing board, adding that as athletes they live to fight another day. Vincent Kipchumba came in second position after Ethiopian Shura Kitata who clinched the first position.
