ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi has said Kenya needs a government and leaders who will revive the economy. Speaking in Kakamega, Mudavadi said Kenya is in a weak economic state, “Now as we near the 2022 elections, things are changing and Kenya is in a bad economic state,” he said, “When one asks about ANC, they should get a reply to do with the revival of the economy.”
He has urged Western region residents not to gamble on their votes in 2022, “I urge Kenyans that if we want to survive, don’t let your vote be a gamble, your vote matters.” He further urged the Luhya community to register in large numbers ahead of the elections season and to ensure every registered voter casts his vote. On political support he has always given, he said he has already supported several leaders gunning for the Presidency in the past, but not this time.
