Nandi Hills MCA Gideon Too has faulted the national government for ignoring the Covid-19 pandemic and shifting its focus on politics which doesn’t affect the common mwananchi. He said solutions for Covid-19 effects should be the sole focus. He noted that the government should focus on the needs of Kenyans, “Being involved in issues that are of no benefit to the ordinary Kenyan is a waste of time and resources, which should’ve been channeled to dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said.
He has urged the President and the Deputy President to hold talks and find solutions to deal with the pandemic, “2022 politics is still far and the government should focus on the big four agenda and development issues that will transform many lives.”
