Majimbo Kalasinga is the official Ford Kenya candidate in Kabuchai Constituency.
This is after he garnered 70 votes in Ford Kenya primaries done on Tuesday, 5th January.
His opponent, Nakuru Town East Deputy County Commissioner Eric Wanyonyi managed to get 32 votes as 3 votes were spoilt.
105 Ford Kenya delegates from Kabuchai constituency participated in the nomination process where we had 26 Ford Kenya delegates from the four wards in the constituency and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula too participated in the primaries.
Majimbo will face off with other candidates, who include Peter Kapanga, Evans Kakai and others in the by- election scheduled for 4th March 2021.
The Kabuchai seat was left vacant following the death of the area MP James Mukwe Lusweti who was serving for the second term.
