Vihiga Governor Wilber Ottichilo has said the Sabatia sub county hospital shall be renamed the Mama Hannah Mudavadi sub county hospital in memory of the late Mudavadi family matriarch. Speaking at the funeral of the late Mama Hannah in Mululu, Sabatia in Vihiga County, Governor Ottichilo said her demise has changed the scope of operations in Western, with leaders from the region coming together to ensure everything sails well.
“I wish on behalf of the people of Vihiga County and the entire leadership of Vihiga County to send our heartfelt condolences to the family of honorable Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi,” he said. He affirmed that he’ll work together with other leaders to ensure the handshake is a success and President Uhuru Kenyatta’s legacy is achieved.
He said the County has embraced the handshake, evidenced by how fast the BBI signatures were collected, “We worked with ANC and within two days we had collected the required signatures.”
