West Pokot County police commander Jackson Tumwet confirmed the incident citing that Police officers from Kapenguria police station responded and quickly rushed to the school to restore normalcy.
“Calm has been restored in the school with 60 female students in the school compound while their male colleagues escaped to unknown places. The value of the damage is yet to be established,” he added
