The Busia All in One fans Umbrella under West Media Company Limited continued to receive more groups with the newest members being Mbanavyo and Green Salaams Clubs.

The new groups officially joined the  Busia All in One Umbrella in a colourful ceremony held at Ikonzo primary school in Butula Constituency.

The groups hail from the same area.

In his address, the chairperson of the umbrella Fred Kilongi urged the new groups to feel at home promising to ensure the umbrella expands within and without the county.

The patron of West Media owned Salaams Clubs Delmus Sakali who attended the ceremony, emphasized on the need for unity and focus among member groups in order for real development to be realized.

Miss. Bilha Welomba, who was the guest speaker, urged members, especially women to take the issue of groups seriously, saying they have transformed many livelihoods in the country.

” I urge you women who are here today to ensure you encourage others to join groups in large numbers because it is the surest way of getting you empowered economically,”she said.

She praised the Busia Umbrella for its rapid growth.

” It’s so encouraging that you people only launched the first group  recently but you now have over 60 groups. It’s amazing,” she quipped.
