A twenty three old man from Ollessos area in Nandi hills constituency Nandi County is locked up at Nandi hills police cells over murder allegations of her nineteen year old lover.
Confirming the ugly incident, Nandi East Police Boss Mr Francis Omulo said the suspect is alleged to have killed her lover with a panga in his friend’s house where they were enjoying themselves before dumping her body in a public place where it was found by the public in the morning.
Omulo revealed that the body of the deceased had multiple panga cuts on the head, neck and other parts of the body and the cause of the death is yet to be established after a thorough investigation is conducted.
“We have the murder suspect with us and is assisting us with investigations,”Omulo confirmed.
The police officer cited that it is not yet known why the culprit decided to take the girl’s life in such a manner but are expecting him to explain it after interrogations.
He has called upon the Nandi residents in love to consider solving out their differences through dialogue instead of taking someone’s life in such a manner.
“No one is allowed to take somebody’s life as one is entitled to right to life.”He added.
The suspect is slated to be arraigned in a court of law for murder charges as soon as investigations into the matter are completed.
