The County Commisioner for Nandi Harman Shambi has confirmed that all is set for Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations which will kick off on Monday 7th March, 2022 countrywide.
Speaking to Journalists in Kapsabet, Shambi confirmed that everything is ready including security which he said has been beefed up and transportation vehicles are available.
He affirmed that as Ministry of education, they are very much prepared with four wheel vehicles, in case there will be challenges of transportation due to poor roads especially in Tindiret sub-County though there are no rains in the region hence cases of poor roads won’t arise.
The Commissioner confirmed that a total of KCPE registered candidates in Nandi for 2021 examination are thirty thousand, one hundred and thirteen (30,113), fifteen thousand two hundred and fifty two boys (15,252) and fourteen thousand eight hundred and sixty one girls (14, 861) will sit their exams in seven hundred and twenty three examination Centers(723) across Nandi County.
Nandi County has six sub-counties; Nandi East, Nandi South, Nandi North, Chesumei, Emgwen and Tindiret.
