The Principal Secretary in State Department for Regional and Northern Corridors Kipsang Belio has urged all the boda boda riders in Nandi County and the country at large to turn out and register in the ongoing boda boda registration exercise.
Speaking at Huduma Center in Kapsabet town during the official launch drive of the exercise, Kipsang said the exercise will run for sixty days thus reminded the operators to present themselves to Huduma Centers across the country to participate in the exercise.
“Boda boda operators must present themselves at Huduma Centers for the exercise.” Affirmed Kipsang
The exercise is meant to restore sanity in the boda boda sector therefore its move is to drive out criminals.
The PS confirmed that the operators will be issued with fresh smart driving licenses and upon presentation they are supposed to have their National Identity cards, KRA pins and phone numbers in order to be registered.
