The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations in Nandi County came to a close on Wednesday morning without any hiccups.
According to the County Commissioner for Nandi Harman Shambi, the exercise which kicked off smoothly on Monday ended well on Wednesday therefore lauded the efforts of all who participated in invigilating the exam for the good work as there was no challenge whatsoever witnessed or experienced during the exercise.
“All went on smoothly as planned and we thank God for this.” Shambi added.
He affirmed that this time round Nandi for the first time didn’t witness cases of candidates sitting their exams in hospitals due to deliveries or sicknesses and he thanked God for that and urged the candidates as they await their results at home to uphold high standards of discipline.
“Now that you have completed your National examinations doesn’t mean that you are through with your education, No, you still have a long way to go so be disciplined wherever you are, as discipline brings success,” Shambi said.
Nandi Nandi county had over thirty thousand registered KCPE candidates who sat their examinations in seven hundred and twenty three examination centers.
One candidate from Nandihills sub-county who went missing a week ago didn’t sit his examinations as no one knows his whereabouts.
