The United Democratic Alliance party (UDA) aspirants across Nandi County have unanimously rejected the list of names of proposed party officials to conduct the party nominations on 14th April saying they don’t know them.
Speaking during the UDA party meeting held at St. Peters Catholic Church Hall in Emgwen Sub-County, UDA aspirants led by Mr. Abraham Kirwa who is the MP aspirant for Modop Constituency cited that the list provided is not genuine as those listed to conduct party nominations are all unfamiliar thus they don’t risk and that is why they unanimously rejected it.
Kirwa said the purpose of the party to convene the meeting was to choose who will conduct the party nominations exercise but to their disbelief they were shocked to find a list of names proposed to conduct the exercise.
“We asked them where they came from but they didn’t answer us that is why we rejected them.” He said.
He urged the UDA Party leader to ensure that UDA party nominations are conducted freely, fairly and democratically according to the party’s Constitution without any alteration.
United Democratic Alliance Party is slated to conduct its party nominations exercise on 14th April 2022 across the country while the Jubilee party is slated to conduct its party nominations between 11th to 22nd April and ODM nominations are ongoing and will end on 22nd April.
