The Kenya Kwanza brigade led by the Deputy President’s running mate Hon. Rigathi Gachagua and former Kiambu governor Wilfred Kabogo with the Kenya Kwanza team from Nandi County have urged Nandi residents to elect all the UDA party aspirants in the next General Elections.
Addressing residents in their several campaign stop- overs across Nandi where they had toured on Wednesday for vote hunting, Gachagua cited that if it wasn’t for many Jubilee MPs in parliament the Deputy President William Ruto would have been chased away from the government thus insisting it is good for the government of the day to have more MPs in parliament.
He asked them not to vote for Independent candidates saying there would be no developments if such leaders are given opportunities thus affirmed UDA will form the government of the day and asked Kenyans to support it fully.
Gachagua affirmed that he has no problem with anybody in Nandi saying Nandihills MP Hon. Alfred Keter is his good friend and he was the one who invited him to the party to vie using the party’s ticket on assurance that if he fails, he will be catered for in other positions but Keter didn’t listen and instead ran to independent candidature.
“If we win this elections, our government will have more opportunities thus will accommodate everyone, no need to worry.” He affirmed.
Other Kenya Kwanza leaders from the region led by Governor Stephen Sang and Senator Samson Cherargey promised to deliver 99‰ votes from the region for the Kenya Kwanza coalition in the 9th August polls.
“We are ready and we will deliver our votes to the Deputy President as Nandi is astrong hold of UDA party.” They vowed
The team received warm welcome in the region by the electorates who revealed that they are eagerly waiting for 9th August so that they turn up in large numbers and cast their votes in one basket of Kenya Kwanza.
