Students from Achiya Echakara High school Kamuria in Teso North Sub-County in Busia County have expressed their gratitude after getting an opportunity to visit West Media company to know how a Media company operates.

The students who are also members of the journalism club were accompanied by their Patron Mr. Esike Aron and his assistant madam Linda Wekesa who really appreciated West Media company for accepting their request for a visit.

The teachers could not hide their joy after the entire process that most of them thought that it could take the shortest time possible only to realize that they had spent over five hours which was so amazing and had learnt more than they could even imagine.

To add on that,  teachers urged the students to put more efforts in their studies and to also ensure that they share their experiences of the day with the other students who had not gotten an opportunity  for the academic trip so that they can change their perceptions especially on Mathematics and other subjects.

On the other hand, the students were also euphoric about the trip and expressed their gratitude as well and wanted more time because there was so much for them to learn that they could not have exhausted within the few hours that they were around, since the knowledge they had gotten from the company was very impact full and they had already changed their perceptions and attitudes towards certain subjects.

They appreciated their teachers for keeping their promise and vowed to work harder in their academics in order to achieve their dreams.

However,  students also thanked their principal for allowing them to have a trip and  urged their fellow students who have the dreams of becoming journalists in future to work extra hard in languages and Mathematics as well.
