Kenya Kwanza’s running mate to Dr. Chris Wamalwa for Trans Nzoia County Joyce Keter Cheruto has promised a bruising battle to their competitors in Azimio Coalition from Cherangany Constituency leaders led by MPJoshua Kuttuny and former national Deputy chair of Kenya Kwanza coalition Kipruto Kirwa promising to win the hearts of voters to their side of Kenya Kwanza and trounce her competitors.
Cheruto addressed a crowd after accompanying Gubernatorial candidate for Kenya Kwanza coalition Dr. Chris Wamalwa at his home Kananachi village of Kiminini Constituency in a function that was also attended by Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago, Kwanza MP Ferdinand Wanyonyi amongst other leaders
Cherangany Constituency will be a battle field for votes especially amongst Kalenjin community that resides in the region and has attracted regions kingpins affiliated to Azimio led by area MP Joshua Kuttuny and former Deputy Chair also former MP of the area Kipruto Kirwa and Kenya Kwanza’s now led by running mate to Gubernatorial candidate in Kenya Kwanza Dr. Chris Wamalwa, Joyce Keter Cheruto being aided by Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago.
Joyce Cheruto 34 years old hails from Kaplamai ward of Cherangany Constituency is married and blessed with two children and is banking on votes from youths that is majority in the County promising to woe all the Kalenjin and youth votes to Kenya Kwanza coalition.
Her sentiments were echoed by Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago who laughed off Azimio coalition’s brigade of leaders from the region campaigning for former Regional Commissioner of Rift Valley now Gubernatorial candidate for Azimio Trans Nzoia George Natembeya.
Mandago noted that the Kalenjin community is fully behind Kenya Kwanza Presidential candidate Deputy President William Ruto and Trans Nzoia Gubernatorial candidate Dr.Chris Wamalwa promising to rally them into supporting their coalition.
Mandago expressed his optimism of his Kenya Kwanza coalition’s winning with a landslide in the coming General Elections slated for 9th August, 2022 calling upon all residents of Trans Nzoia County to support all candidates vying on Kenya Kwanza coalition tickets.
Kwanza MP Ferdinand Wanyonyi drummed up support for Dr. Wamalwa appealing to voters to vote in to last man their candidate Dr.Chris Wamalwa as he was capable of turning around the economy of the region that’s not doing well.
On his part, gubernatorial candidate for Kenya Kwanza Dr. Wamalwa asked voters to support his bid promising never to let them down as well as asked for forgiveness to whoever he had wronged.
