Jack Wambulwa has been officially cleared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC to vie for Kimaeti ward seat in the August polls.
Speaking outside Bumula IEBC offices after being cleared, Hon. Wambulwa urged his fellow politicians to conduct peaceful campaigns, before and after elections.
He however, said that he will strictly follow the laid down electoral laws and regulations by the Commission as he also wanted other politicians to adhere to the rules to avoid conflicts during their campaigns.
Hon. Wambulwa who is also the chairperson of Budget committee in the County Assembly of Bungoma faulted Governor Wangamati’s regime for taking long to release scholarship and bursary funds to needy pupils and students which he said the budget was long time approved by the Assembly.
MCA Wambulwa will be defending his seat on Ford Kenya ticket under Kenya Kwanza.
