Vihiga County Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Returning Officer Peter Tiyo has said they have experienced technical hitch while submitting names of candidates vying for various political seats in the region.
Addressing media at Chavakali Boys High School venue that has been identified as County tallying centre, Toyo said the technical hitch had been resolved and the exercise resumed as planned.
He added that so far 14 Senatorial candidates have submitted their papers and cleared and 3 candidates vying for Woman Representative seats noting that only 3 Senatorial candidates failed to submit their papers for clearance.
The exercise that is going on across the country will end on 5th June 2022.
