Police have been asked to speed up investigation into the death of Moses Nabibia, the office manager in the office of Bungoma County Woman Rep Hon Catherine Wambilianga which occurred on Thursday in one hotel at Misikhu market under unclear circumstances.
Addressing the media at the home of the deceased, Bungoma County Woman Rep Hon Catherine Wambilianga termed the death as a big blow not only to her office but the County at large adding that his employee,Nabibia was a man of the people and touched many souls regardless of their differences either political or any other way.
“Moses was one of my very hardworking employees, he was a jack of all trades, he could do anything to make sure that the office runs smoothly and the cruel death has snatched us a very important person and we will miss his workmanship,” said Hon. Wambilianga.
She has appealed to people to stop speculations but give police officers an opportunity to unravel the cause of his death and asked police officers including the DCI to dig deeper and get the root cause of Nabibia’s death.
“Justice delayed is justice denied we want the police to do great work but still speed up the investigations as everyone is eager to know what transpired and caused his untimely death that has left all of us shocked,” she appealed

Her sentiments were echoed by Kabuchai MP Majimbo Kalasinga who said the late was an icon in Ford Kenya party and played an important role which has made the giant party active in Kimilili Constituency and the County at large and conveyed the message of the party.
“Even as we convey party’s message of condolence we call upon the police to carry out the investigation quickly because all of us wish to know and especially the family needs to know what really happened, this is a serious matter and needs to be taken with the seriousness that it deserves,” said Majimbo.
Other speakers including Tuuti- Marakaru MCA who also doubles up as a majority leader of Bungoma County Assembly Hon. Joseph Juma Nyongesa mourned the late as a great man who was an added value to the lion party and will be missed greatly.
His wife, Mrs.Joseline Nabibia and his brother Fred Nabibia said the news of the death of Moses Nabibia got them unaware and they are still in shock and they haven’t come to terms with the sudden death and want the truth about the cause of the death of their beloved one.
“Am still in shock because the last time we talked, he told me he was heading for a political meeting and he will not return home but at wee hours I called him but the calls went unanswered until I received the shocking news of his death, just don’t know what to do and how to explain to my seven children that their father is no longer a life, ” she explained
Until his demise he was the office manager of Bungoma County Woman rep Catherine Wambilianga and his body was found in a room in a guest house at Misikhu market and the cause is yet to be established but a lady he was with in the room is in police custody to help the police with the investigations.
His body was taken to Lugulu Friends Mission hospital morgue as the police continue with their investigations.
