A group of artists from South Pokot constituency have blamed political leaders from their region for failing to support their talent as they struggle.
Led by Geoffrey Kiptoo, they complained that political leaders in West Pokot have for long time failed to support and denying them a chance to entertain the people of West Pokot during public holidays.
He added that some of the artists have given up for lacking support, others are using drugs where it can be a risk to the present generation as there will be no youths or artists whom the community will depend on for entertainment.
Kiptoo has however asked politicians from their region to come out and support young and upcoming artists as one way of reducing unemployment.
