Amani National Congress party, Tongaren Constituency candidate Ben Smith Chekwanda has called upon politicians across the country to continue embracing peace during this campaign season as the country’s Electoral Commission prepares for the August 9th General Elections.
Speaking to West FM in Nzoia village, Mbakalo ward, Chekwanda emphasized on the need for politicians to keep on embracing and preaching peace ahead of the upcoming General Elections.
He was however been saddened by a number of politicians in Tongaren Constituency and countrywide using the youths to disrupt peace during political rallies of their competitors, rather asking them to embrace mature politics that would unite Kenyans and bring long term solutions to the hardship Kenyan citizens go through.
Chekwanda however asked locals in Tongaren to vote for him as the area Member of Parliament in the coming August polls so that he can bring change and development. He advised the youths to distance themselves from politicians who are fond of using them to disrupt peace, rather choose a leader who will bring solutions to the challenges common citizens face across the country.
