Residents of Apokor village, Ang’urai ward Teso North constituency and their counterparts from Bumula Constituency, Kimaeti Ward of Bungoma County have complained about the status of the bridge that connects the two counties along River Malakisi.
Speaking to West Media, the affected residents claim that the bridge only allows boda boda riders and pedestrians and therefore they are raising alarm to both governments to come together and improve on the status of the bridge so as to allow vehicles to use it.
According to Mzee Mark Barasa Siraru from Aidomor Sub-location, Aboloi location of Busia County, the bridge has hindered many projects to be initiated.
