The Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya team in Trans-Nzoia County has called for political tolerance and peace during their campaigns at Lukhome market in Saboti constituency.
The team led by the Former Rift Valley Regional Coordinator and a candidate of Trans-Nzoia gubernatorial seat George Natembeya condemned violence by any means during and after the 9th August polls.
Natembeya who was speaking during the rally, campaigned for his gubernatorial bid and called on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IBEC) to conduct free and fair election.
“I call upon IEBC to be vigilant during the process of voting since there is nothing like inadequacy of ballot papers during the voting day.” He said.
Natembeya assured residents of Trans-Nzoia County that if he gets elected on 9th August, he will ensure equal distribution of resources, equal employment opportunities and he also promised residents of Trans Nzoia of numerous ways to fight corruption within the County.
He further condemned the outgoing governor Patrick Khaemba and the Ford Kenya party for poor governance that has made Trans-Nzoia County to lag behind in development.
“I urge you to vote for me as your governor on 9th August because I will bring freedom and deliver Trans -Nzoia from the bondage of corruption and Ford Kenya party.” He recommended
