Mbakalo ward Member County Assembly elect Benard Kikechi has promised to adhere to his manifesto he made during the campaign season as soon as he assumes the office to ensure good quality service delivery to the locals in Mbakalo.
Addressing his residents, Kikechi said he will work in line with his manifesto and whatever he pledged to the locals during the campaign season, he will ensure he lives to keep the pledges by ensuring quality service delivery to the locals and ensuring all the beneficial projects he promised are indeed realized.
In collaboration with Governor Kenneth Lusaka initiative, Kikechi promised to have put in place measures that will ensure small business people have access to business loans from the County government of Bungoma to stabilize their businesses and boost them in the quest to raise economic status across the ward.
With a good number of market that have no security lights, the MCA elect noted that as soon as he assumes office he is going to work on it and ensure that there will be security lights on every market, besides drilling of clean drinking water and proper sanitation and hygiene across business centres.
He however promised to work in line with other leaders, among them Tongaren Member of Parliament elect Dr. John Murumba Chikati, Woman Representative Catherine Wambilianga and Governor Kenneth Lusaka to improve the road networks, water projects and other beneficial projects in the interest of the common citizens.
Having eyed Mbakalo ward seat for quite some time, Kikechi seems to be determined and focused after being elected on Ford Kenya ticket, taking over from Bethuel Mwambu who unsuccessfully vied for the Tongaren Parliamentary seat.
