Bungoma County to reap huge in the Absa bank Kenya-Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) Small and Medium sized Enterprises partnership.
In partnership with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), Absa bank is providing coaching and mentorship to women-owned and small medium enterprise businesses across Bungoma County as well as creating healthy partnerships for their growth and sustainability.
While gracing the launch of the Western Region business sensitization tour in Bungoma County, Bungoma Deputy Governor Janepher Mbatiany has lauded the Absa-KNCCI partnership terming it as a great effort in realization of development and community empowerment live projects.

“We are proud to be collaborating with likeminded partners to better the livelihood of our people through creation of favourable commercial, trade and investment opportunities that redefine the future of small medium enterprise businesses and their contribution to the economy of Bungoma County,” said Mrs.Mbatiany
“We are living in the inflation times owing to the high cost of living that has rendered small business enterprise to the mercy of abnormal taxes. My boss H.E Governor Kenneth Lusaka has a clearly outlined solution seeking policy framework in league with his manifesto that will effectively work towards cushioning Bungoma residents from harsh economic realities to achieve socio-economic and agricultural growth.” She added
Mbatiany has further welcomed the idea of partnership and committed to ensure sustainable and completion of stalled projects through the Governor’s office.
Bungoma County will also enjoy a hand up in other areas of revenue collection, agriculture and access to market pillars.
