Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has today (Sunday) called on the political class to now concentrate on service delivery because politics is over.
Speaking at St.Francis Asis Catholic Church Miyanga in Bumula Constituency, Lusaka said he will work with everyone despite their political affiliations to ensure service delivery to the people.
“Politics is now behind our backs and we should now embark on service delivery to those who employed us,” said Lusaka

Bungoma County boss further assured residents that he will finish on all projects started by his predecessor saying failure to do so was a waste of tax payers’ money.
“I will ensure that all projects started by the former Governor are completed so that the people realize value for their money,” he assured.
The Governor told residents that all County Scholarship beneficiaries will have the money paid latest Tuesday.
“Some schools have already started receiving the cash and I want to assure you that by latest Tuesday next week all beneficiaries will have the school fees paid.” He said
He at the same time said stringent measures have been put in place by his health officials in the wake of Ebola virus that has struck the neighbouring country Uganda
Lusaka was accompanied by the area MP Jack Wamboka, former Bumula MP Mwambu Mabonga, Kanduyi MP John Makali with a number of MCAs.
