KPSEA and KCPE examinations has kicked off smoothly in Trans Nzoia County with security beefed up in all the examination centers whose candidates are sitting their examinations that has started today across the country.
According to Trans Nzoia County Director of Education Luka Kangogo they will not allow any form of cheating calling upon center managers to be vigilant while inspecting the examination.
Kangogo warned those who might fall victim of cheating of dire consequences should they be found engaging in unlawful activities claiming all the suspects will have actions taken against them promising all the stakeholders, students and teachers of enough security during the
whole process.
“I want to call upon teachers to always verify their papers and if they find anything strange, they must liaise with us immediately for directions,’ said Kangogo.
Trans Nzoia County has 605 examination centers for KPSEA students while 568 Centers for KCPE with 31,640 candidates registered for KCPE while 31,353 candidates for KPSEA.
KCPE registered 15,491 boys while 16,141 girls totaling to 31,640 while KPSEA registered 31,353 candidates; 15,136 girls, 16217 boys
