President William Ruto has nominated more than 50 Permanent Secretaries who will serve under his government in different Ministries.
Among the names forwarded to the Parliament by the Head of Public Service Felix Koskei for vetting include Professor Edward Kisiang’ani (PS State Department for Broadcasting and Telecommunication in the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Digital Economy), Dr. Juma Mukhwana ( PS State Department for Industry in the Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry), Dr. Beatrice Inyangala (PS State Department for Higher Education and Research in the Ministry of Education), Dr. Harry Kimtai has been retained in the Ministry of Agriculture as the PS for Livestock, Susan Mangeni ( PS State Department for MSMEs Development in the Ministry of Co-operatives, and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), Dr. Belio Kipsang has been retained in the Ministry of Education as PS State Department for Basic Education among others
