Judicial Service Commission forwards names of the High Court Judges to the President for appointment

President William Ruto received on December 1 names of Judges of the High Court recommended by Judicial Service Commission for appointment.

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) advertised vacant positions of Judges of the High Court in March 2022.

Through communication from the JSC via the President of the Supreme Court and Chairperson of the Judicial Service Commission Justice Martha Koome, the JSC considered; constitutional imperative of merit, gender, regional balance and affirmative action.
