The Athletics Integrity Unit of Kenya has suspended Kenya’s long distance runner Rhonex Kipruto of doping .
Kipruto who holds a record in 10,000 race in Valencia and Spain and also a Bronze medal winner in 2019 World Championships has been suspected of doping and therefore suspended as investigation goes on.
Kipruto has been found with irregularities relating to his athlete biological passport. The biological passport can detect possible irregularities in blood values assessed over time without an athlete testing positive for a banned substance.
Kipruto who was at the peak of his career made his first run when he was only 19 years in Doha, Qatar where he finished third in 10,000 in a race which was won by Joshua Cheptegei of Uganda
