Ruth Chepchumba Kibenei from Marula village of Maili Saba in Trans Nzoia County is the winner of recipe for magic Coca-Cola promotion that’s ongoing after she won a one year voucher for purchase of goods.
Speaking while at the Coca-Cola depot in Kitale, the elated winner explained how she heard the promotion through radio adverts and decided to participate in the promotion.
Chepchumba said she participated in the promotion after having been given two hundred shillings by her husband that was meant to purchase food but she instead bought a Coca-Cola soda that she gave her family before scratching the code in the bottle top then participated in the promotion a week ago.
She explained how she received the message from Coca-Cola Company informing her of the win that she couldn’t believe since she had forgotten for having participated.
She said she will save some money that to use in the purchase of food and other items and purchase a piece of land as she stays in a rented house with her family.
The North Rift Regional Wholesale Manager, Evans Simiyu stated that the competition was real as he added that the company was giving back to the society that was why the promotion was done in open.
He thanked the winner for having trust in the Company that she participated in the completion that helped her win appealing to citizens to continue participating in the promotion as
they might be lucky too.
He implored the winner to make real her decision of purchasing land and move from rented house.
