Vihiga Queens Coach Boniface Nyamunyamu believes that a two-week camp will be best for his players before the qualifying match for the African champions’ league expected to be played in July in Uganda
He said this will help the players to maintain attention and produce better results during the competition.
Vihiga, five time champions of the Kenya women’s league won the inaugural matches of the 2021 CECAFA qualifications in Nairobi.
Kenya did not have a representative last year owing to the FIFA suspension of Kenya as Tanzania’s Simba Queens represented the region
However, the coach has said intensive preparation is required if the team need to do well in the course
