War of words has erupted between Trans Nzoia County Governor George Natembeya and Senator Allan Chesang over implementation of County projects.
The two faced each other during a County Integrated Development Plan CIDP at Kitale, a function that was also attended by Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka and DAPK leader Eugene Wamalwa.
Senator Chesang had asked Governor Natembeya to make sure he helps in alleviating poverty especially amongst youths whom he claimed were living difficult times promising to make sure he oversees all the County projects initiated by the County Government to make sure development projects are realized.

Chesang promised to deal with corrupt individuals in the County Government stating that although the County has got good plans for the locals, several individuals in Natembeya administration might be tempted to infiltrate the development projects with the intention of looting.
On his part, Governor Natembeya called Chesang to not only speak on issues affecting locals in funerals and barazas but make sure he supports projects that are of value to County residents accusing him of being behind the motion that suspended increment of monies to Counties.
Natembeya called upon the Senator to not only stay in Nairobi doing nothing but instead visit the County and engage with the County leadership in matters development.
