Governor Kenneth Lusaka has this morning flagged-off eight disciplines set to represent the County in the Kenya Inter-County Sports and Cultural Associations (KICOSCA) 2023, to be held in Meru County.
“You’re our flag bearers. Carry yourselves with decorum.You have what it takes, go forth and emerge victorious.” Said County boss
Lusaka expressed optimism in the vetted teams, committing his full support.
“The vetting committee led by the Ministry of Gender, Culture, Youth and Sports have selected top notch, we are fully behind you,” he reiterated.

The KISCO, 10th edition is geared towards strengthening inter-County relations, promoting National cohesion and nurturing talents in the Country.
The highly popularized games to take effect between August 20th -26th will see Bungoma County teams showcase prowess in Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Athletics, Cultural dance, Folk Song, Netball among others.
The ceremony at the County Headquarters was attended by CECMS; Eng. Agnes Wachiye (Gender and Sports),Carolyn Makali (Trade),Benedict Emachar (Public Administration), Chief Officers and Senior County officials.
