President William Ruto will visit Bungoma County at the end of this week on a two day development tour slated for the 27th and 28th this month.
Governor Kenneth Lusaka led the County delegation for an inspection tour of various facilities and legacy projects set to be launched by the President on his working visit to Bungoma.
The Governor assessed the ongoing construction works at the Bungoma Maternal and Child 300 bed capacity Referral Hospital that is 98℅ complete.
He also inspected the 32 acre, 200 Affordable Housing unit grounds at Musikoma, the Sang’alo Aggregated Industrial Park, Misikhu-Brigadier road among others.

The County Boss further pitched camp in Mt. Elgon, assessing ongoing projects and the construction works at Chepkurkur TTI, Kopsiro that is 80℅ complete.
Lusaka said the President’s visit will be a major economic boost for the region, and a catalyst to mega projects in the County.
“We are ready to host the Head of State. It will be a game changer as far as development is concerned. We fully support the Bottom Up Transformational Agenda.” Affirmed Lusaka.
He was accompanied by Deputy Governor Jennifer Mbatiany, CECMs; Dr. Andrew Wamalwa (Health),Douglas Sasita (Lands, Housing and Urban Planning), Bonventure Chengeck (Roads and Public Works),Benedict Emachar ( Public Administration), Chief Officers and Senior County Officials.
