Parents have been urged to be closer to their children, have time with them so that they can advise and guide them as a way of curbing vices among them and teenage pregnancies.
Addressing Bumula South Umbrella West Fm fans at Lunao Village in Bumula ward, Bumula Constituency during their monthly merry go round, Kimaeti ward coordinator Bishop Mulunda appreciated West Media company for bringing together its fans for a common course as he said such formations have brought about development in areas thus eradicating poverty.
He encouraged them to continue working together with a common goal as he also encouraged them to support Bumula MP Wanami Wamboka with other leaders to get more development.

Bungoma South administrator Meshack Wafula alias Operator Meshack Wafula wa Lunao echoed his sentiments as he lauded them for coming together in initiating different development projects and urged them not to sell their maize at a throw away price saying the second planting season may not bring bountiful harvest therefore told them to be cautious with what they have already harvested.
He promised them that the amount contributed will be used for the purpose of buying tents and chairs as they had planned.
Welfare treasurer, Everlyne Simiyu expressed her contentment of West Fm salaams clubs as she revealed that since she joined the club she has been able to sort out financial issues with no difficulties as she urged other listeners to join them.
