Christians have been told to keep trusting upon the Lord even during hard times when they lose their loved ones due to death since God is the giver of life and He knows our days on earth.
Addressing the congregation during mass on the 1st anniversary of the late Retired Major Dr. Philip Muyoti in Emauko village, Butula Constituency in Busia County, the Catholic Priest Donald Mwenesa, who serves in Argentina, asked the congregation to check on their ways to always embrace biblical teachings and to depend on the Lord despite challenges in life.
He encouraged the family of the late to accept God’s will, for everything happens with a reason and told them to remain steadfast in serving the Lord and meditate on how their last days will be once they are called by the Lord.
West Media Director, Cyprian Wekesa who attended the function said Dr. Muyoti was knowledgeable, loved education and promised to continue with plans to put up an education empowerment centre in his remembrance.

He thanked the Priest for conducting the mass as he revealed that Father Mwenesi was an intern at West Media and being one of the late’s family members he really portrayed a good gesture for standing in the gap.
Dr. Ong’ang’o, a close friend to the late, recalled the moments they had with him during their youthful and working life.

Dr. George Akoto, a long time friend to the late said Dr. Muyoti was firm in life and appreciated for introducing him to the business world adding that he was more of a friend and was always present to provide treatment to his family members.
Dr. Muyoti passed away on 1st September 2022 while undergoing treatment at Medatta hospital in New Delhi, India’s capital.
He was one of West Media Limited’s Directors.
