Spain bound Aldrine Kibet has been named by Sports Journalists’ Association of Kenya (SJAK) as August Sports Personality of the Month.
Kibet was named the Kenya School Games MVP after leading his team St Anthony’s Boys Kitale to the National Championship in Kakamega.
He walks home with a trophy and a 55 inch TV courtesy of LG Electronics
The last two awards were won by multiple world record holder Faith Kipyegon.
Aldrine is expected to join Nastic Academy located in Barcelona in Spain later this month.
Other players of St. Anthony’s boys Kitale who will join Aldrine in Spain are Amos Wanjala and Alvin Kasavuli
