Kenya has signed a memorandum of understanding with the American basketball association NBA, which will facilitate the development of basketball infrastructure in Kenya.
The agreement will also facilitate the opening of the NBA’s regional office in Nairobi.
The contract was signed early Friday in New York between President William Ruto and NBA Africa CEO Victor Williams. Sports Minister Ababu Namwamba has witnessed the signing and launching of the agreement.
The agreement will provide opportunities for basketball players in the country to develop their talents and improve their lives.
