Religious leaders from Bungoma County have made an appeal to the national government to find a permanent solution to the fuel price crisis due to the issue of the regular increase in the price of oil products, saying this situation affects the ordinary citizen.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with West Media, religious leaders led by the chairman of the Bungoma churches and clergy union bishop Ignatius Wanjala, said that it is sad to see the price of oil products escalate each passing day and that the government deserves to provide a permanent solution.
In his statement to the media, Bishop Wanjala added that the church has prepared a special prayer to help restore peace in the nations of Israel and the Gaza area, saying that the government of Kenya should include the interests of Kenyans living in those war prone countries.
