Defending champions Senegal and Teranga Lions have been included in group C along with Cameroon in the 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations, AFCON, which will be held in Ivory Coast between January 13 and February 11 next year.
The other teams in the group are Guinea and Gambia.
The hosts The Elephants of Ivory Coast will open the tournament against Guinea Bissau while the other nations in group A are the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.
Seven-time champions Egypt, if you like The Pharaohs, will face four-time champions Black Stars from Ghana, Cape Verde islands and Mozambique.

Group D: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Mauritania, Angola

Group F: Morocco, DR Congo, Zambia, Tanzania
Algeria’s Desert Foxes will compete with Burkina Faso, Mauritania and Palancas Negras from Angola in group D while group E will feature Tunisia, known as the Carthage Eagles, South Africa and Namibia’s Brave Warriors.
Morocco’s Atlas Lions are in the final group F along with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Zambia’s Chiplolopolo and Tanzania’s Taifa Stars.
The draw was organized last Thursday night in Abdijan, Ivory Coast and led by CAF leader Dr. Patrice Motsepe.
