Sabatia Bus Park in Butere Sub-County which has been inactive for almost three years is now in full functional gear.
This came to light after Kakamega Deputy Governor H.E Ayub Savula commissioned the Bus park on Tuesday following a directive by H.E Governor Fernandes Barasa on Monday this week during the Sub-County’s Public Consultation Forum held at Butere Girls National School.
The DG said the facility will reduce accidents caused by both human and motorists at the fast rising Sabatia centre.
Hon. Savula further added that the facility is vital in enabling the County in Revenue collection and reaching its set target.
He went ahead to call on the security personnel to beef up security in the area due to the rising cases of insecurity.
The Deputy Governor was accompanied by MCAs, Public Service and Administration CECM Dr. Godfrey Owori and County Secretary and Head of Public Service Dr. Lawrence Omuhaka.
