Nandi County has a registered total of 26,465 KCPE candidates and 16,339 KCSE candidates this year. This is according to Nandi County Director of Education Willie Machocho, who said the preparations for the national exam is going on well, with matters like security and transport factored.
Machocho said of the 26,465 KCPE candidates, 13,421 are boys and 14,244 are girls. Furthermore, of the 16,339 KCSE candidates, 8,151 are boys while 8,188 are girls. He has called upon the candidates to prepare well adding that stern measures have been put in place to curb any irregularities.
This year’s KCPE exam will be conducted between October 28th to October 31st, while the KCSE exam will take place between October 21st to November 27th.
