Kenya has recorded 690 new Coronavirus cases, with the total cases now at 22,053. According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, cumulative tests done are at 315,723. 681 of the new cases are Kenyans, while 9 are foreigners. 492 are males while 198 are females. The youngest is 6 months old while the oldest is 83 years old.
58 patients have recovered, taking the total recoveries to 8,477. On the other hand, 5 patients have succumbed within the last 24 hours, with fatalities now at 369. Nairobi has once again recorded high numbers with 535 new cases, followed by Kiambu County which has 56 cases.
Kajiado County has 28 cases, Nyeri has 24 cases, Busia County has 9 cases, Machakos has 7 cases, Nakuru has 6 cases, Kisumu has 6 cases. Embu County has 4 cases, Garissa has 4 cases, Laikipia County has 3 cases, Narok County also has 3 new cases. Meru, Mombasa, Nyandarua, Bungoma and Kwale Counties have 1 case each.
