The KNEC CEO David Njeng’ere said that the exercise will start on January 29 and end in March 2024.
“The registration of 2024 KPSEA and KCSE candidates kick off on the 29th of January to the 29th of March,” Njeng’ere said in a statement.
He appealed to school principals to ensure that all eligible candidates are registered within the period.
“Please note that there will be no late registration after the two months,” he added.
He also informed the stakeholders that the KCSE Examination will be followed by the release of KPSEA reports for candidates who sat the Grade 6 assessment in 2023 in the next 2 weeks. He urged all parents, and teachers to scrutinise the KPSEA reports to ensure they use the results to monitor learner progress.
Njeng’ere was speaking in Eldoret where Education CS Ezekiel Machogu early Monday morning released the 2023 KCSE exam results.
At least 903, 260 candidates sat for KCSE which began on October 23, 2023 and ended in November 2023.
At the same time the Teachers Service Commision boss Dr, Nancy Macharia during the KCSE results release said that TCS is in the process of promoting 36,505 teachers to different grades this financial year.
She thanked all the teachers for their hard work and commitment in preparing the 2023 KCSE candidate.
