Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Thursday officially launched his long-awaited political party; Democracy for Citizens Party [DCP], the event that took place at the party does headquarter s at Lavington Nairobi.
On Thursday morning, Gachagua arrived alongside his supporters and other leaders to launch the new political party which he intends to use to challenge President William Ruto ahead of 2027 general elections.
According to Gachagua, the new party includes participation, representing the youth, the disabled, people with disabilities, and all other groups of society, revealing that candidates from all over the country have already expressed interest in joining the party.
Former Deputy President went ahead during the launch of the party and named the following as the interim leadership of the new party.
