Police in Lugari Sub County are holding in custody a 30 year old man for allegedly defiling two primary school pupils.
Confirming the incident, Lumakanda location chief Celestine Asige said the suspect Richard Wafula was arrested with the two underage school girls locked in his house in Kambi moto village Munyuki sub location.
She said the two girls aged 14 are primary school pupils and the suspect has been defiling them in turns.
She said working on tip-off members of the community policing and nyumba kumi cornered and managed to arrest the suspect with the two girls.
Their head teacher regretted the incident saying it was not the first time to be committed by the suspect.
“Last year he was arrested for defiling two other pupils in a sugarcane plantation but I don’t know how he was released after handing him to the police,”
One of the victims said the suspect had threatened to kill them if they made noise or ever tell anyone about the incident.
The suspect was taken to Lumakanda police stations as investigations go on before being arraigned in court.
