A body of a 53-year old man who is believed to have committed suicide was found in his house at Hangai Village in Lunda Sub County Vihiga County by villagers.
According to the area Police Boss Mohammed Mohamud they were informed by the area residents that a man by the name Stephen Amachika body was hanging in his house and he might have committed suicide.
He said they have no information on what might have led to his death, adding that they have launched an investigation into the matter.
The body of the deceased was taken to Coptic Hospital morgue a waiting postmortem to ascertain the cause of his death.
The Police Boss advised residents to seek counseling when they have issues or mental problems to avoid such incidents.
