More than three hundred business people from Misikhu Ward in Webuye West Constituency have seen their business uplifted by their area Mca.
The Mca for Misikhu Ward Mrs. Millia Masungo gave her personal donation of goods to business people worth six hundred thousand. The goods ranged from five sags of omena, seven sags of potatoes, several sags of maize, several crates of tomatoes among other goods for sale.
Speaking to West Media during the handing over of goods to business people from the ward, Millia said she decided to boost her people in business due to the biting economic hardship that has led to some closing their business for lack of more cash to continue with their daily business ventures.
She encouraged those who received her donation to ensure they guard their business in order to thrive, promising to continue checking and monitoring their progress.
The business community that received the donation from the Mca appreciated the good gesture from their leader.
“Some of us were planning to close down our business due to the high cost of transportation that has resulted in big losses,” they said.
Business people living with disability urged those who received the kind donation to make good use of it and make profit in order to realize their dream.
