As KCPE exams enter day two on Tuesday 8th March, a standard eight candidate in Eyeview primary School in Nandi East, has not turned up for the exams after he went missing since Monday last week and his where about is not known to date.

Speaking to journalists in Nandihills town, Lydia Simba the mother to the fourteen year old boy who resides in Nakuru region narrated that her child was schooling in Nandi where he has been staying with her sister (his younger mother) and is shocked on how he went missing, since he has been performing well in class and has no doubts on may be he departed because of exam phobia.
Simba confirmed that as a family they have reported the matter to Kapsabet police station and the case is with the police appealing to any one who has seen him or is aware of his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station.
“I don’t know why my boy decided to leave in such a manner without any notification and what I want is for my child to be found safe,” Simba said.
She added that her child has been doing well in his studies and that he could have not feared to sit for the end year exams thus is praying hard to be found alive.
