A decomposing body of a Nandi Doctor who had been reported missing in a fortnight was found at Kingwal swamp near Kingwal River in Nandi during a thorough search by his family members in collaboration with the police.
North Central OCPD Doris Chemos confirmed the incident saying they suspect the deceased might have drowned while crossing the river.
Chemos revealed that the postmortem conducted on the body did not reveal signs of any injuries thus samples have been taken to the Government Chemist for further investigations.
Until his demise the Doctor was working in Narok County where he had been transferred to and from Kericho County.
The body is in Kapsabet County Referral Hospital Mortuary.
